Link or unlink a tablet from the portal

Show a pairing code in the browser, scan it with the tablet, and remove tablets you no longer use.

Devices & connections shows every tablet linked to the venue and when each was last in touch.

  1. Open Devices & connections and select Link a tablet.
  2. On the tablet, open Swift Inventory. On first launch choose Scan the QR from NOPI. Otherwise go to Profile and choose Scan from NOPI app.
  3. Point the tablet’s camera at the code on your screen.

The code lasts two minutes. If it runs out, select Link a tablet again. Do not share a screenshot of the code: anyone who scans it becomes a device on your venue.

Owners and managers can select Unlink next to a tablet, then Unlink now. That tablet is signed out the next time it contacts the server. Counts it has already filed are not affected. Counts still waiting on that tablet are not sent, so file them first.

What this page cannot show

SwiftPOS and Circona sign-ins, and the choice of which system counts file to, are kept on each tablet. They are not reported to your account, so check them on the tablet under Connections. See The SwiftPOS connection and The Circona connection.
