Offline and queued counts
A count sent without a connection is kept safely on the device and sends itself later, and it can never be filed twice.

What you see
You tapped Save & Send, but the count has not appeared for review. On the tablet it shows a queued badge under In progress. On a NOPI phone the same situation shows as Waiting to send.
Why
Save & Send needs a connection. With no signal, and cellars are the classic case, the count is kept safely on the device that made it. It is not lost.
The device sends the count automatically when the connection returns. Duplicate sends are impossible. Each count is filed exactly once, so retrying is always safe.
What to do
- Stay on the device that made the count. The count is saved there.
- Get back online. Leave the cellar or join Wi-Fi.
- Open the app. On the tablet, open Counts. On a NOPI phone, open Inventory from the Home screen.
- The count sends itself and the badge disappears.
- If it still shows as waiting while you are clearly online, open the count and tap Save & Send again.
Where to check
The Archive shows everything this device has filed or has queued. You can open it from the menu, or tap All past counts → Archive on the Counts page.
Counting without a connection
You can count offline from start to finish. The count sheet is a snapshot taken when you start, so it does not need a connection while you work.
For NOPI venues, a count started offline shows a will share badge. The tablet keeps trying in the background. Once it is back online you see “Back online — this count is now shared with the venue’s phones”, and the lines you already counted are carried over.
Weights filed offline
Bottle weights you file while offline are queued in the same way. You see “Registry not reachable right now — saved, will file automatically.” See File sealed-full and empty weights.
If a count keeps failing while online
The error message names the products involved. This usually means the place’s product list changed while you were counting. Start a fresh count, which picks up the current list.
Before you sign out
Signing out removes unsent counts from the device. Send queued counts first. See Unlink a tablet or sign out.
