Where counts go: one ledger per venue
Each count is filed exactly once, to the one system that owns your venue's stock: NOPI, SwiftPOS or Circona.

One ledger per venue
A stock ledger is the system that keeps your venue’s stock figures. Swift Inventory files each count exactly once, to the system that owns that venue’s stock. Exactly one ledger is active on each device.
| Your venue uses | What a count becomes |
|---|---|
| NOPI | A count in NOPI. Variance shows in NOPI insights. |
| SwiftPOS | Till events for the store the tablet is paired with. |
| Circona | Stocktaking adjustments for the warehouse. |
See which ledger is active
On the Counts page, badges show which systems are connected: NOPI, SwiftPOS and Circona, each with a tick or a dash. A badge such as counts → nopi shows where counts are filed.
Change the ledger
- Open Connections from the menu.
- Find the Counts file to card. It appears once at least one system is connected.
- Tap the system that owns this venue’s stock.
The first system you connect becomes the ledger automatically. Only change it if the venue’s stock really lives somewhere else.
Check what was filed
- When a count is sent you see Count filed and the ledger it went to.
- The Counts page lists the latest under Recently filed, with the time and the ledger.
- The Archive shows everything this device has filed or has queued.
Product data is separate from the ledger
Whichever ledger you use, product identity and bottle weights come through your NOPI or Swift Inventory account. SwiftPOS and Circona do not hold bottle weights, so the app looks them up by barcode when you weigh.
A SwiftPOS or Circona venue whose tablet is not also linked to an account can count, but cannot weigh.
A bottle you scan that your account’s product registry recognises but your ledger does not stays on the tablet’s own record, flagged. It is never filed to the ledger.
