Before you start

You need at least one station or warehouse with products. See Stations and warehouses.

Steps

  1. Open Counts and look under Start a count. You can also open Stations & storage.
  2. Pick the place you are standing in. Your stations and your warehouses are both listed.
  3. The count sheet lists everything stocked there. The app takes a snapshot of that place’s product list, so you can keep counting without a connection.
  4. Count each product:
    • Whole bottles: use − and +, or type the number. Decimals such as 4.5 are fine.
    • Open bottles: select the row, put the bottle on the scale and wait for Stable. Then tap the Add … ml to count button. The fraction, for example 0.87 of a bottle, is added to the line.
    • Items not on the sheet: tap Scan. If the barcode is known, the product is added to the sheet.
  5. Skip what you do not count. Skipped products are left untouched. They are never set to zero.
  6. Tap Save & Send.

You can find a product quickly with the Search products or barcode… box.

After Save & Send

  • Online: the count is filed straight away. You see Count filed.
  • Offline: the count queues on the tablet and sends itself later. Resending can never file it twice. See Offline and queued counts.

A manager then reviews the count and finalises it. That books the difference against the stock ledger and shows real usage since the last count. See Review variance after a count and Finalising a count.

Counts in progress

The Counts page lists unfinished counts under In progress and the latest sent ones under Recently filed. Tap a count in progress to continue it. Starting the same place again resumes the count that is already open.
